TTA Top 10 National Rankings 1948 to present
Perhaps of interest to members - TTA has listed Top 10 Rankings 1948 to today:
SENT ON BEHALF OF SCOTT HOUSTON – TTA CEO
Dear clubs/associations,
TTA has made a concerted effort in recent years to capture and celebrate the rich history of Australian table tennis, with projects including the Official Australian Representatives Project (Able-Bodied) and relaunching the TTA Hall of Fame.
In our latest historical project, TTA is pleased to release the Top 10 Australian National Rankings for Men and Women from 1948 to present, which can be viewed by clicking here. Being ranked in the top 10 players in Australia was, is and will continue to be a significant achievement that players aspire to. There are hundreds of players who have achieved this feat over the past 72 years, many of whom went on to become greats of Australian table tennis through their performances on the national and international stage. We trust that you will enjoy reading through the names of current players and those from previous generations.
Special mention and thank you to Marie Pinkewich, TTA Board Member, for her tireless work in initiating the project and then compiling all information.
