Passing of club member, Gordon Forsyth
We received the sad news yesterday of the passing of Gordon Forsyth, after a short illness. Gordon has been a member of this club since 2015 and played with us regularly up until only a few weeks ago. Gordon was an enthusiastic club member who very much enjoyed the competition of playing, and was a keen participant in our social activities. He will be remembered fondly and sadly missed. We send our sincere condolences to Gordon's wife, Ronda, and all Gordon's family and friends.
Gordon’s Funeral Service will be held at the Drysdale Community Church, 276-290 Jetty Road, Curlewis on Monday (April 29th) commencing at 11am.

So very sad to hear of Gordon’s passing. I am sorry I will not be able to attend his funeral.

Gordon's Funeral held at the Drysdale Community Church, was a wonderful celebration of his life. It was extremely well attended with family members and friends from the many community organisations that both Gordon and Ronda were involved with. There were quite a few members of the Bellarine Keen-Agers Table Tennis Club at the Funeral - to say a final farewell to Gordon. Attached below is a copy of Gordon's Memorial handout.
It was requested that rather than sending flowers that a donation in memory of Gordon be given to the Andrew Love Centre. Our Club has honoured this request by providing a donation of $50.
It is an unfortunate part of life that it is not until one attends a friend's funeral that you learn so much of their life. Gordon's funeral was an example of this, where we all gained an insight to Gordon's full, productive and wonderful life.
